The use of CASE tools such as Rational Rose and the Unified Modeling Languages improves the clarity in the communication with the customers. Often 3rd party testing has proved to be a effective strategy too. Different levels of integrity checking such as class level testing, clustered class level testing, module level testing, system level testing, constant team walk-through all have had profound effects on functionality. Standards have been decided for different components of the software - screen design, analysis and design, report designs, class and object fundamentals.
